XD Games has revealed a sneak peek of the highly anticipated Season 5 of Torchlight: Infinite during a recent livestream. Set to launch on July 4, the new season, titled Clockwork Ballet, promises to deliver the game’s most significant update, featuring new content, overhauled gameplay, and a completely revamped PC user interface for Torchlight: Infinite designed to enhance player focus and engagement.
The Clockwork Ballet season introduces you to a host of new challenges and improvements that will revolutionize the gameplay experience. Among the highlights is a new hero trait for Divineshot Carino, named Zealot of War. Driven by a quest for vengeance, Carino transforms into a Gatling Gunslinger in Burning Red, capable of switching seamlessly between Mobility and Annihilation combat modes. This trait allows him to unleash a relentless barrage of firepower, even after his ammunition is depleted, making him a formidable force on the battlefield.

As part of the season-exclusive content, you will encounter strange dolls scattered throughout this mysterious new chapter. Defeating these dolls grants coupons that can be exchanged for rewards, and you can increase their challenge rating from F to SSS, aiming to become the ultimate doll destroyer. Additionally, unlocking exclusive membership services, such as the ‘Clockwork Ballet Ticket’, allows hunters to face off against the season-exclusive boss, Silverwing Dansuse, in the Iron Curtain of Eminence.
To prepare for these new challenges, ‘Clockwork Ballet’ offers powerful Legendary gear. Items like the Passing of Time and Time of Vow rings provide more than just aesthetic appeal, while the Heels of Hands boots offer auto-triggers for Empower and Defensive skills, freeing up valuable skill slots. The Legendary Visions Event, launching simultaneously with the new season, enhances the drop rates for Legendary gear, ensuring optimal looting opportunities for you.
The new season also introduces two new Pactspirits. The Iron Lion, a combat companion, adds knockback effects for projectile-loving hunters, while a variety of new outfits, such as the Wukong: Escapist Apparel and Night Rider Skill Effect, allow you to enhance your wardrobe and customize your appearance.
In addition to the new content, you can look forward to a range of quality-of-life improvements and optimizations, including:
- Legendary Equipment Overhaul
- Simplified Netherrealm Challenge Process
- Free Talent Reset extended to Level 90
- Automatic Pactspirit Plan Switching
- Plenty more too
