Creative Assembly has just introduced a new chaos faction in Total War: Warhammer 3 called the Tzeentch. This announcement was accompanied by a trailer showcase Tzeentch in the game.
Tzeentch, The Raven God, is the Chaos God of magic, mischief and manipulation. He is flux personified, a daemon-god who alone truly embodies the endless, broiling change that is Chaos.
Check out the Total War: Warhammer 3:
Tzeentch has Kairos Fateweaver, the legendary lord who is the mightiest of the Lords of Change that serves in this faction. He is blessed with visions from the past and future, all the while being an unrivaled sorcerer who knows every action before it has even been conceived. This allows him to twist fate and destiny to suit his own malevolent purposes.
The twin-headed monster has an armada of magical abilities that it uses to unleash upon the enemies. One particular ability called Staff of Tomorrow dramatically increases the rate at which he can cast magic, allowing him to effortlessly change a mix of devastating spells.
Moving on to the Tzeentch playstyle the armies in this faction are made up of formidable spellcasters that make use of powerful sorcery to blast enemy ranks from a distance. In the campaign, The Raven God uses his factions to perform Change of the Ways actions to machinate diplomatic situations and manipulate elements of reality.
The Tzeentch faction contains a roster that is constructed around ghastly daemons like the giggling Pink and Blue Horrors and the Flamers of Tzeentch who rain hell-fire on the enemies. Flying units like the Doom Knights, Burning Chariots, and the screamers tear through the skies before cascading down on the enemy.
Total War: Warhammer 3 is available for pre-order right now on Steam, while the game is set up to launch early next year in 2022. A release date has not been confirmed by Creative Assembly, but you can expect it anytime in the winter season.
