Developer and publisher Gamious has announced the release of a free multiplayer update of Turmoil. Turmoil is an oil drilling game that was released back in 2016 and it was critically received at its launch. Released exclusively on PC via Steam, Turmoil is a beautiful game with some serious 1800 vibes as you step into the oil drilling business and establish your very own oil drilling setup in order to secure more orders and become the biggest oil tycoon in the world. Now with its latest update in place, you can now play with other players and challenge them to become the ultimate oil entrepreneur.

If you have been playing the singleplayer mode of the game for a long time, you will instantly notice after jumping into the multiplayer that it uses a new and more compact map where the NPCs are replaced with actual players. You will have the option of joining any random game with online players or setting up your very own custom game with friends. Apart from this, all areas and technology progression along with gameplay mechanics are used from the main game. If you are unable to find all three players for multiplayer, you can start a custom game with just one other player as well. In such a title, all empty slots will be filled with NPCs and the game will continue normally.

The Turmoil franchise has been around for years, and it’s still going strong. The release of the multiplayer update will certainly not be the last. Work has already started on new content, and we’ll have exciting news to share about that next year!
Fans of the title will be happy to know that Gamious has more plans for Turmoil in 2023 and the details about the additional DLCs coming to the game will be revealed by the developer in the upcoming days. The new multiplayer update for Turmoil is now live for all Steam players and both the game and its previously released Turmoil – The Heat Is On DLC are currently on a massive sale.
