Unbound: Worlds Apart Announced for Xbox and PlayStation Release in 2022

Developed by Alien Pixel Studios, Unbound: Worlds Apart is coming to Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PS4, and PS5 both digitally and physically. The digital release will be handled by publisher Digerati while Perp Games will handle the physical release of the game. Both the digital and physical versions of Unbound: World Apart for the consoles will release in February 2022. The release dates are different for both platforms.

In Unbound: Worlds Apart, you take on the role of Soli who is a young mage and can open portals and control the properties of each world. He can inverse gravity, manipulate time, get super strength, and more. You will find 10 portals in the game and each of them offers a unique mechanic to discover on your journey.

The game features ethereal hand-drawn environments where you will explore and complete various quests while collecting ancient lore, defeat enemies and meet a cast of otherworldly creatures as well. A mystery hides in the midst of it all and your task is to unravel it while using your powers. All of this is done by playing around with portals that are used to kill enemies, solve puzzles, and complete different platforming sections.

Earlier this year, Unbound: Worlds Apart launched on Nintendo Switch and PC and now the game is heading towards additional consoles. The Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S versions of Unbound: Worlds Apart will release on February 11, 2021, while the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game will release on February 9, 2021. The physical releases will release soon after the digital release. A confirmed release date for the physical release will be announced at a later stage.
