Dontnod Entertainment’s Vampyr, which is a narrative driven action RPG is continually receiving ongoing support, as the difficulty mode updates releases next week on September 26 for the Playstation 4, Xbox One and Pc.
This comes in a good time for players as a special discount on Steam for Vampyr is now live in celebration of the Focus Home Publisher’s weekend.
The update which is dropping Tuesday will include two new difficulty modes which add further replayability for existing players, and more options for new players have not played this dark adventure game set in the London of 1918.
Story Mode de-emphasizes combat, and places a greater focus on the narrative so players can enjoy Dr Jonathan Reid’s journey with a less challenging gameplay. While Hard mode makes combat much more difficult. Players in this mode will receive less experience from killing enemies too, which will force them to rely even more on embracing citizens to grow in power and numbers.
When players start the game up, an option to choose from these two new modes or a third Normal Mode will be given for players just wanting to experience a the original Vampyr experience.
Additionally, with the inclusion of the new modes, the upcoming update will bring a lot of tweaks and fixes.
Nvidia Ansel will also be made available for PC, which allows players to capture in game screenshots. These screenshots or photos can be shared in 3D on mobile phone, PC or VR headset.
