Brave Lamb Studio and Movie Games revealed their brand-new title War Hospital at the Future Games Show last week. War Hospital is a war-themed tactical game that is all about saving lives during World War 1 instead of taking them. War Hospital was one of the two titles revealed by Movie Games during the digital event with the second title being Fire Commander.
War Hospital is set in the year 1917 and you play as Major Henry Wells, a retired British combat medic who has been drafted back into the military and sent back to the frontlines of the nightmarish World War I. You are understated and undersupplied in your temporary military establishment however you are the last bastion of hope for countless soldiers at the Eastern Front. The game represents the new genre of society survival which consists of games such as Frostpunk and This War of Mine.

You take charge of a field hospital where you must build a facility to heal combat injuries while the artillery shells explode around you. The developers have made sure that the game has faithfully recreated WW1 wounds and field equipment while presenting realistic medical tools and methods which give you the opportunity to develop them. The developer details that the game focuses on the moral side of commanding a field hospital during WW1.
Players will need to triage, prioritize wounded soldiers and even require a look in their personal history to decide who should be saved and who should not be saved for the greater good. Michał Dziwniel, Head of Brave Lamb Studio details:
