Bigben and Eko Software have announced the dates of the first phase of Warhammer Chaosbane Closed Beta. Warhammer Chaosbane is the first action RPG taking place in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe and is coming out later in summer.
Warhammer Chaosbane will have two beta phases and the first beta phase will take place across all platforms including PS4, Xbox One and PC. It is available to all players who pre-ordered the game. Pre-orders of all versions of the game, Standard, Digital Deluxe and Magnus Version, will get access to the first beta phase.
The schedule of the first phase is as follows.
- Pre-downloads start March 6th at 1 a.m. (PST)
- Beta starts on March 7th at 1 a.m. (PST)
- 1st phase ends on March 13th at 1 a.m. (PST)
During this beta, players will have access to the sewers of Nuln and fight the Nurgle demons to level up their players up to level 20. The beta also gives players cooperative access to up to 4 players which could be local or online. During this phase, two of the in-game characters are unlocked which include Konrad, the Imperial Soldier, and Elontir, the High-Elf Mage.
EKO Software also took time to create a special ‘Ask Me Anything’ video in which they picked some of the most commonly asked questions and answered them. You can check out the video below.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is the first action RPG set in the universe of Warhammer Fantasy Battles. Players will be thrown deep in the heart of the Old World which is marked by the Great War against the forces of Chaos. Players can pick their hero from human, wood elf, dwarf or night elf race and visit some of the most iconic locations in the Warhammer universe.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is coming out on PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 4, 2019. Players who buy the Magnus Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition will have access to the game early on May 31, 2019.
