Bigben and Eko Software have announced the release date and different editions of the upcoming Warhammer: Chaosbane. Along with this, news relating to two different beta sessions have also been announced.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is the first hack n slash game set in the world of Warhammer and players will be able to explore the heart of the Old World. The game is set in the continent marked by the Great War Against Chaos. Players will be able to choose between four unique classes which include human, high elf, wood elf and dwarf.
Each class is unique and offers distinct abilities and gameplay. Players can choose their favorite class and jump in battles spread across iconic locations of Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe. The game offers local and online cooperative gameplay with up to 4 players.
Playing with friends will greatly enhance the gameplay and will allow players to help each other and battle foes with different strategies by using each character’s unique abilities which is not possible while playing alone.
Players will be able to unleash a special move called Bloodlust which will allow them to unleash a devastating power on their enemies and it can be a battle changer. You can check out the new pre-order trailer of Warhammer: Chaosbane below.
The pre-orders for Warhammer: Chaosbane are now live on Xbox Store while PS Store pre-orders will be live tomorrow as well. Players who want to opt for physical editions can look at the retailers mentioned in the official website. All players who pre-order the game will be eligible to take part in the private beta.
The first beta phase will start in March while the second beta phase will take place in April. Both sessions will give players to experience the starting of the main campaign with all four classes and test them out. The beta sessions will allow cooperative modes. Further details about the beta will be revealed later.
Along with the access to private beta, all players who pre-order the game will also get an XP bonus and a special Helmets Pack at launch. Helmets Pack will include 4 bonus helmets to use in the game. Also the game comes in four versions, details of which are below.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is releasing across PS4, Xbox One and PC on June 4, 2019. Owners of Magnus Edition will have early access on May 31, 2019.
