Warhammer: Chaosbane Announced for Next-Gen Consoles with New Character and Content

Nacon and Eko Software have announced the next-gen release of Warhammer: Chaosbane for PS5 and Xbox Series X and S. Warhammer: Chaosbane will be available on next-gen consoles with the Slayer Edition. This will make Warhammer: Chaosbane the very first hack-and-slash on the next-gen consoles. The game will include all DLC packs released for the game. Since its release, the game has received over 12 DLC packs until now.

Along with the DLC packs, the game will also feature all updates as well which include Keela, the Tower of Chaos, and a 4K, 60FPS visual experience. A new character Jurgen Haider, the Witch Hunter, is also arriving on Xbox Series X and S and PC on November 10 while the PS5 version will receive the new DLC character on November 12, and 19, 2020, depending on your region’s launch date for PS5. Witch Hunter uses a combination of two weapons to kill his enemies. Wearing the distinctive hat and the long coat, Witch Hunter uses his sword for close range encounters while for long-range, he prefers using his pistol. Witch Hunter will also arrive for Xbox One, PC, and PS4 players as a DLC. Apart from the new character, the game will also receive a free update patch that will add great improvements for new players and fans of the first hour of the game. The hubs of Act 1 and Act 2 have been expanded in the new patch.

The area around the camp of Act 2 has also been enhanced with new enemies to fight and you will also have access to a new area – the cemetery – which will add a new environment to the game and even more enemies. You will be able to fight new enemies such as Daemon Princes, Skullcrushers (Mounted and on foot), a Chaos Warrior, and new cultists in the new area. The new patch is free for all platforms however Witch Hunter will arrive for free on Slayer Edition and as a DLC for current-gen platforms and PC.

The new content patch including all updates and the new character will be released on November 10, 2020, on current-gen and next-gen platforms.
