Bigben and Eko Software have released a brand new trailer for Warhammer: Chaosbane which dives deep in the story of the game and tells us a little bit of the history of the events set in Warhammer: Chaosbane. The brand new story trailer has been created with the help of Ankama.
Ankama is an animation company from France and is well known for Dofus and Wakfu. The new trailer tells us a little bit of the back story of what led to the events of Warhammer: Chaosbane. According to the trailer, in the year 2301, a Kurgan warlord named Asavar Kul united the different tribes of Chaos Wastes and waged war upon the realms of men.
The attack started from the distant northern kingdom of Kislev and the Chaos army sacked its largest city, Praag. At the time when it seemed that the entire world of men would fall to the forces of Chaos, a nobleman from the south named Magnus rallied the people of the Empire and started to resist the invaders.
Magnus rallied the common people and later accompanied by some of the mightiest heroes from all across the land, marched to the rescue of the Kislevite capital fighting Kul’s army in a massive battle outside the city walls. Magnus was able to defeat Kul in single combat leading to the disarray of the Chaos forces to the winds.
Magnus was blessed by the gods who heralded him as the true Emperor of the men. He later returned to Nuln in triumph where the story in Warhammer: Chaosbane will continue from. Make sure to check out our preview of the game. You can check out the brand new trailer below.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is the first action RPG to take place in the Warhammer Fantasy Battles world. It will plunge the player into the heart of the Old World, a continent marked by the Great War against Chaos, a bloody conflict which ravaged the Empire of men. Players will be able to play as a human, high elf, a wood elf or a dwarf and explore some of the most iconic locations from the Warhammer Fantasy Battles universe.
Warhammer: Chaosbane is releasing on May 31, 2019, for owners of Magnus Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition while normal players will be able to dive in the battle against the forces of Asavar Kul on June 4, 2014. The title is slated to release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
