Games has released a detailed gameplay walkthrough trailer for Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, giving us a detailed look at the game’s PvP mode, customization options, skill tree, broom upgrades, and career mode. Set for release on September 3, 2024, this highly anticipated game promises to immerse you in the thrilling world of Quidditch like never before.
In the PvP mode, each player controls a Chaser on their team and can choose to play as a Chaser, Keeper, Beater, or Seeker, allowing for a dynamic and strategic gameplay experience. This mode emphasizes teamwork and skill, offering various roles that you can master as you compete against others online.

The Career Mode allows you to launch your Quidditch journey at the Weasley Burrow in the Garden Cup. From there, you advance to the Hogwarts House Quidditch Cup, where you will select their Hogwarts house and face off against familiar characters like Cedric Diggory and Draco Malfoy. As you progress, you will represent one of the three great wizarding schools—Beauxbatons Academy of Magic, Durmstrang Institute, or Hogwarts—in the prestigious Triwizard Schools Quidditch Cup. The ultimate goal is to compete on the global stage in the Quidditch World Cup, offering a full spectrum of Quidditch challenges.
Customization is a significant feature in Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, with you able to earn skill points to enhance your stats and unlock special moves. Brooms can be upgraded to improve speed, agility, and other attributes, allowing you to refine your play style. Importantly, all content in the game is earned through in-game progression, with no option to purchase advantages with real-world currency.
The game is packed with iconic locations, characters, and references from the wizarding world. Whether soaring through the skies as a Beater, Chaser, Keeper, or Seeker, you will experience the rush of Quidditch in modes that include solo play, competitive multiplayer, and online co-op. Legendary arenas, from the Weasley Burrow to the Quidditch World Cup, provide the backdrop for intense matches featuring beloved characters like Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Ginny Weasley, Draco Malfoy, and Cho Chang.
As a special perk, if you own Hogwarts Legacy, you will receive the Bonus Legacy Pack when you download Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions and link it to the same WB Games account. Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions will be available in Digital Standard and Deluxe Editions on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store starting September 3, 2024. The Physical Deluxe Edition will be released for PS5, PS4, and Xbox consoles on November 8, 2024, with a Nintendo Switch edition arriving later in the holiday season.
The Digital Standard Edition is priced at $29.99, while the Digital and Physical Deluxe Editions are available for $39.99. Fans who pre-order will receive the Firebolt Supreme Broom Skin as a bonus. Additionally, the Standard Edition will be available at no extra charge for PlayStation Plus members from September 3 to September 30, 2024, with continued access as long as they remain members.
