Epic Games Store Kicked off last month on PC in direct competition to Steam and to attract players to the new video game store, Epic has been giving them free games ever since it was launched. The next free game for Epic Games Store has been released and it is ‘What Remains of Edith Finch’.
The first two titles to go free on Epic Games Store were Subnautica and Super Meat Boy. What Remains of Edith Finch is the third title to go free on Epic Games Store ever since it was launched. For players who have already played this amazing title, this is not an attractive deal but for those who have not played it yet, they should give this game a shot since it won’t be costing them anything.
What Remains of Edith Finch is developed by Giant Sparrow and it was released in 2017. It was released across PC, Xbox One and PS4 so it is not a PC exclusive title. It is a very solid adventure game in which players get to explore the Finch Manor in the shoes of Edith Finch who is the last of her family line.
Players will get to explore the mysteries and secrets of the Finch Family which has a strange curse on them. Because of this curse, one member of each generation dies in a very unusual way. Players will explore the family house and explore the mysteries behind the deaths of previous generations and uncover the mystery that lies behind the curse.
As with most premium game services, free games disappear after some time so same is the case with Epic Games Store. However, there is no premium required here. These games are free for all Epic Games account holders. Since Epic Games Launcher is already downloaded to all those players who play Fortnite, getting some free games on the same client is a cool initiative.
At this point, Super Meat Boy is free on Epic Games Store so if you have not added the cool platformer to you account, add it right away.

What Remains of Edith Finch will go free on January 10 will be free for all Epic Games account holders until January 25. Players can add the game to their library free of cost during this period. Games added for free will remain in your account forever granted that you add them to your library.
