Wakefield Interactive and Whitethorn Digital have announced that their puzzle adventure game Where the Bees Make Honey is releasing on Nintendo Switch next month. Where the Bees Make Honey was released earlier on PS4, Xbox One and PC however the Nintendo’s flagship device was left out. However, fans will be delighted to know that this wonderful self-actualization puzzle game is coming to Nintendo Switch in September.
Where the Bees Make Honey is an amazing game and I am sure that a lot of us who are now working in different fields all day can relate to. It is actually about a girl who is currently working in an office and is reflecting back on her memories of her early days. These include her childhood days where she used to play with her favorite toys all day long. All this is seen from an adult’s perspective.
The game consists of numerous simple and easy to understand puzzles and min-games which offer a great deal of variety such as finding your daughter as a rabbit or driving a monster truck through a forest. The main character of the game is Sunny and you will see her childhood in flashes and also get to play some of those moments in different seasons. Check out the trailer of the game below.
The game features gameplay in both first-person and third person. The transitions are very smooth however some of the sections also pull out from the screen and give a sort of bird-eye view where you can rotate the world of the game, solve the puzzle and move on to the next memory. Each memory presents something new while the last one is my favorite which reminds Sunny of her traditional Halloween days.
Make sure that you check out our highlight reel of Where Bees Make Honey. Our review was done on the PS4 so now we cannot wait to try the game again on Nintendo Switch and see how the game fairs on Nintendo’s flagship console.
