Where to Find Legendary Pokémon in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet
The new Pokémon can be found in the game’s Paldea region. Below we have detailed all the Legendary Pokémon and where you are going to find them in the game.
Chien-Pao
This Legendary Pokémon is a Dark/Ice type Pokémon that has its Sword of Ruin ability. It can be released from the Icerend Shrine in West Province where you have to go to all the Yellow Stake locations in the Shrine.
Chi-Yu
Trapped in the Grasswither Shrine in South Province, Chi-Yu needs to be released when you go to all Blue Stake locations. The Legendary Pokémon is a Dark/Fire Pokémon that comes with its Beads of Ruin ability
Ting-Lu
Ting-Lu is a Dark/Ground type Pokémon that comes with its Vessel of Ruin ability. To catch this Pokémon, you will have to release it from the Groundblight Shrine in South Province. Once you have gone to all Green Stake locations, you will then release Ting-Lu
Koraidon
Koraidon is a Fighting/Dragon type Pokémon that comes with its Orichalcum Pulse ability. It is exclusive to the Pokémon Scarlet and can be caught after finishing the game and completing The Way Home – Zero Gate quest.
Miraidon
This is a Pokémon Violet exclusive Pokémon which is an Electric/Dragon type Pokémon, and comes with its Hadron Engine ability. Like Koraidon, this Legendary Pokémon can also be caught when you finish Violet and complete The Way Home – Zero Gate quest.
Wo-Chien
This Legendary Pokémon is a Dark/Grass type Pokémon that has the Tablets of Ruin ability. It can be found in the Grasswither Shrine all the way in South Province. You will need to go to all Purple Stake locations in the Shrine to release this Pokémon.
