Whitethorn Digital has released some of the best indie games in the previous years and now the publisher has revealed three brand new titles during the recent Steam Summer Festival and Wholesome Direct. All three titles are slated for a release later in 2020 and the publisher has now revealed them fully. These brand-new titles include cat cafe simulator Calico by Peachy Keen Games, hot spring customer management game Onsen Master by Waking Oni, and short-form narrative title We should talk by Insatiable Cycle.
The first Calico is a cat café simulator game and it is slated for release this fall on PC and consoles. Calico is a day-in-the-life community sim game where you must rebuild the town’s cat cafe and fill it with cute and cuddly creatures. You will journey to a small village where you will find magical girls and other friends and run the local cat cafe. You can build up your café with furniture, fun decorations, yummy pastries, and ultimately cute animals in it. A demo is currently available on Steam for you to try it out.
Onsen Master is a hot spring management game and is slated for a fall 2020 release as well for consoles and PC. In Onsen Master, you must take over the fantasy island of Izajima and revitalize various hot springs. You will be required to create ingredients to match the various customers’ ailments, help people get together again, and discover the supernatural world that the community has been disconnected from. The game will feature a 1-2 player story mode along with competitive couch multiplayer mode.
Finally, We should talk is a great game that we are already familiar with as we previously previewed the game. You should check it out for additional details on We should talk. The game is slated for release on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox One for $6.99 in July 2020. The game’s Kickstarter campaign was a success with the title securing more than 200% of its goal easily.
You can head over to Steam to check Calico, Onsen Master and We should talk. You can also add them to your wishlist if you want to follow up with more details or want to purchase the games when they come out.
