Developer and publisher Chucklefish has announced that its upcoming frosty card-battling game Wildfrost is getting an exclusive demo for Steam Next Fest. The new demo of Wildfrost will remain available for players throughout the Steam Next Fest from October 3 to October 10, 2022. The demo will offer English, Chinese (Traditional and Simplified), Japanese, and Korean language support and will allow players to try out a small slice of the full game.

While the full version of Wildfrost is slated for release this winter, the new demo will give players a chance to play with the Snowdweller Tribe which includes three battles per run with six possible mini-bosses and a final boss at the end of the run. You will be able to collect 23 companions and 45 glacial items and clunkers to experiment with as you mix and match to find your balance.
Wildfrost allows you to build your card deck of charming companions and powerful elemental items as you try to take back a world fallen to the Wildfrost. Snowdell is the final civilization that has survived the Wildfrost, and the last remaining people are now trying their best to hold their stronghold. You will need to devise an effective strategy and utilize your cunning card-building skills to reach the Sun Temple and banish the Wildfrost. As you progress through the game, you will get new card companions and gift their charms to make them more powerful and effective in combat.
Key features of Wildfrost include:
- A perfect mix of deckbuilding and adventure. Wildfrost lets you test your card-battling skills as you fight to save the village of Snowdwell.
- The option to pick your ‘Leader’ from a variety of different tribes at the beginning of each journey, each gifted with different randomized stats and skills.
