NACON and KT Racing have unveiled the pre-order details and the Deluxe Edition of the upcoming WRC 10, the official game of the FIA World Rally Championship. Pre-orders for WRC 10 are now live across all platforms and players can choose from various editions. Pre-orders are now live on PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
WRC 10 will be celebrating the 50th season of the Championship in 2022 and to celebrate, the developers from KT Racing have imagined a brand-new Anniversary Mode that traces some of the most outstanding rounds of the competition. The game features 6 rallies that have never been before in the entire WRC video game franchise. These exclusive events will allow you to step in the shoes of the greatest drivers and relive the most spectacular moments of their careers.
These events will also feature their own, unique vehicles and weather conditions that will represent the real-world events as accurately as possible. With over 22 events, WRC 10 pays tribute to some of the greatest rally drivers of all time including Sébastien Loeb, Sébastien Ogier, Carlos Sainz, Peter Solberg, Tommi Mäkinen, Colin McRae, Ari Vatanen, Marcus Grönholm, Walter Röhrl… and many more.
The WRC Deluxe Edition includes early access to the full game 48 hours before the normal release date and exclusive content including:
- Historical event: Tommi Mäkinen behind the wheel of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 5 at Rallye Sanremo 1998
- Super Special Stage: Arena Panzerplatte of Rallye Deutschland reproduced at 1/1 scale – the most played special in WRC 9!
- Career Starter Pack: Teams Members to reinforce your staff, and a pack of stickers for the livery editor
- 3 months free access to WRC +, the official digital platform of the WRC, giving access to every live streaming and videos of the Championship
NACON has also announced that all WRC 10 pre-orders will get access to an additional historical event of Rally Sanremo where they will drive as the famous Colin McRae in his iconic 1997 Subaru Impreza 22B WRC.
