Wreckfest is one of the best car games currently available and developer Bugbear Entertainment is working hard to ensure that it remains so. With its latest Summer Smasher Tournament, players have a brand new set of challenges to complete in Wreckfest and unlock a behemoth of a new vehicle called simply as the Hellvester. To put it words, it is hell’s take on the mighty harvester and you do not want to be in its way when its wheels start rolling.
As previously announced, the brand new content drop updates part of the Tournament Mode are free for Wreckfest and the new Summer Smash Tournament is no different. The new set of challenges are now live in Wreckfest and anyone can participate in them since they are completely free. Check out the new Hellvester in action below:
Previously, Bugbear Interactive released the Banger Bash update for Wreckfest which brought with it new cars, new tracks, and a new tournament for July 2020. Since it is August now, we now have the Summer Smash Tournament and you can jump in the tournament right now to unlock the brand new Hellvester to unleash hell on your opponents in Wreckfest.
Wreckfest was released last year on consoles and we reviewed the Xbox One version of the title and we absolutely loved the return of the franchise. Bugbear Entertainment has really outdone itself with the new game and since then, the studio has been releasing regular updates for the game and DLC packs which added new cars, tracks, and features to the game since its release.
Key features of Wreckfest include:
- Awesome Cars – Old, banged-up, patched-together cars that simply ooze style! From old American heavy-hitters to agile Europeans and fun Asians, you won’t find anything like this in other games.
- Meaningful Customization – Change not only the look of your cars but also upgrade their body armor.
- Multiplayer – Wreck your friends online and take racing to the limit while chasing for demolition dominance!
