Microsoft has revealed its own batch of Xbox Games with Gold for February 2021 and it includes a bonus game this time around. Normally we get 4 games but this time around, we are getting 5 games for the entirety of the month after including the bonus game. Apart from the bonus game, the normal titles added to the subscription are also not that bad when you compare them with the previous months.
Xbox Games with Gold titles for February 2021 include:
- Gears 5 – February 1-28
- Resident Evil – February 1 – 28
- Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition – February 16 – March 15
- Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb – February 1 – 15
- Lost Planet 2 – February 16 – 28
These are the five games that you will be getting this month. Since all titles are playable on the new Xbox Series X|S consoles, even if you still have the Xbox One, you can still enjoy all of these titles. Xbox Series X|S will give you the enhanced edition of Gears 5. The game comes with exclusive next-gen features so that you can fully utilize your next-gen console’s power and enjoy this latest title in the Gears franchise in its best form.
Next, we have the Remastered version of the original Resident Evil title. It was released on Xbox One but it is fully playable on Xbox Series X|S as well. It brings the full game in its remastered form for you to experience the title that started the whole saga that we grew up to love today. Dandara: Trials of Fear Edition is one game that I am not too familiar with however it was also released for Xbox One.
It is set in the world of Salt which is hanging on a thread and is about to collapse however you step in the shoes of Dandara who must save the world before it is too late. Probably one of my favorites out of the bunch is Indiana Jones and the Emperor’s Tomb. The game is set in 1930s China and players step in the shoes of Indiana Jones who must recover a powerful artifact before it falls into the wrong hands.
The final game arriving in the second half of February is Lost Planet 2. Lost Planet 2 was not very well-received when it was released originally. It received pretty low scores and having been played the game, I can see why as well. It is probably not the best title out of the bunch but if you like the franchise, you can give it a go.
Which of these games are you looking forward to playing in February 2021? Let us know in the comments section below.
