Since the SIGGRAPH event and reveal of RTX and Turing architecture, we have waited days to learn more about RTX’s brand of reference and custom graphics cards. Recent news says that the Zotac RTX 2080Ti AMP edition will cost $1199 while non-Ti is coming out in two models.

Specifications-wise, Zotac RTX 2080Ti will come with three display ports, dual 8-pin power connectors, USB Type-C, and HDMI 2.0b.

If you are looking for an upgrade from your current GTX 1080 or 1080Ti, then the Zotac RTX 2080Ti AMP edition is the best bet. However, if you do not own any top-tier graphics card of the GTX 1000 series, then Zotac RTX 2080 will do for now.

The Zotac RTX 2080 standard variant will cost $799, while a modified version will cost $839. The standard edition comes with a single blower fan, while a modified version of it comes with a triple fan design. The blower edition will be the best purchase in case you missed out on a GTX 1000 series GPU.

Nvidia RTX brand of GPUs prices are higher than its previous GTX series. For one, Samsung is in collaboration with Nvidia and bringing RTX and Turing architecture to life on GDDR6 memory. Second, the bundle of features the RTX series is coming out with will significantly set a new hallmark for computer graphics that we know.

However, there can be an alternative for you in case you go looking for a graphics card at a cheap prices. We speculate that once Nvidia officially launches its RTX series, there will be a fall in prices, officially, in its GTX 1000 series. We suggest you keep an eye out once prices fall.
