Apex Legends Season 2 Will Come With Daily and Weekly Challenges

Apex Legends Season 2

Season 2 of Apex Legends is set to launch tomorrow, and Respawn has already announced that the second season of the game will contain challenges for players to complete. Respawn specifically says that it wants the game to have a more rewarding progression system for players.

This comes after the dull start of Season 1 that saw players grinding to complete the tiers of the battle pass. What made it even more boring was the fact that the rewards were not something that was worth to effort, while many players were left struggling to get all the tiers unlocked in the season pass.

With season 2, Respawn will add new daily and weekly challenges for payers to complete. These challenges are going to be interesting, intuitive and straightforward enough for players to complete.

Respawn is also going to introduce a new system called Stars. These are unlocked when you complete daily and weekly challenges that don’t offer enough for a level on their own. Meanwhile, the weekly challenges will allow you to go up the tiers in the battle pass. Once you have enough XP along with the Stars, you can have enough to get another battle pass tier.

Daily challenges will come in threes every day. These are made to be completed quickly and will be relatively easy. Completing each challenge will earn you 3,000 Stars. Which means that completing all three will give you a total of 9,000 Stars.

On the other hand, the Weekly Challenges will be added every week with 7 different challenges to complete. They will be designed to take longer to complete, but each completed challenge is going to guarantee unlocking a battle pass tier. Completing all seven challenges of the week will give you 7 battle pass tiers.

There are also weekly resetting challenges, these are three special challenges you get weekly, but get reset every week. This means that if you fail to complete them within a week, your progress will be lost along with the challenge itself.

Season 2 is not only about challenges, but the rewards, the new map changes and the much-anticipated addition of another Legend in the game. Wattson will also be coming tomorrow with the Season 2 update and will be available for 12,000 in-game credits.
