Borderlands 3 Guns Love Tentacles

Gearbox has announced some great news for its shooter Borderlands 3 at PAX East 2020 including a brand new DLC and a Steam release. According to Gearbox’s announcement, a brand new DLC for Borderlands 3 called Guns, Love and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock is releasing next month on March 26, 2020. The developer also announced that the game is finally coming to Steam as well and players waiting for the Steam release can now finally jump in the game.

The Steam release is set for March 13, 2020, and fans would be delighted to know that Borderlands 3 will support cross-platform gameplay between Steam and Epic Games Store. It means that if your friends own the game on Epic Games Store but you, on the other hand, waited for the Steam release, all of you can now play Borderlands together when the game releases on Steam. You will also be able to transfer the save files between the two platforms as confirmed by Forbes.

The brand new DLC Guns, Love and Tentacles allow players to finally witness the marriage of two of the key characters from the franchise Wainwright and Hammerlock. However, since this is Borderlands, nothing ever goes according to the plan in this game and similarly, the wedding does not go according to the plan. The wedding is taking place on the icy planet of Xylourgos. The planet houses the dead body of a vault monster which is worshipped by locals.

The very same locals also want to disrupt the wedding and this is where you come in. The wedding is being planned by Gaige the Mechromancer who is a returning character from the previous Borderlands game. The DLC is slated for release on March 26, 2020, while the Steam release is on March 13, 2020, so players will have a decent time catching up to the Epic Games Store players until the brand new DLC releases.
