In this Far Cry New Dawn MP3 Music Player Locations Guide, we will show you how to complete the Audiophile side mission that requires you to collect all the 10 MP3 players and where they are located in the map.
Collecting all the MP3 Player files completes the Audiophile mission and unlocks the “Audiophile” trophy/achievement in the game.
These MP3 players can be heard when you approach or get near them. These collectibles can also be revealed on your map when you upgrade the Cartography Station at Prosperity and buying the map from the home base, making it easier to get to them and collecting them.
It is worth mentioning that to get to some MP3 Players you need to grapple towards their locations. This is where you need to have the Grapple Perk unlocked for yourself before you start hunting for them.
Far Cry New Dawn MP3 Music Player Locations Guide
Below we have listed all the MP3 Player locations that you can collect to complete this side mission.
MP3 Player # 1 – Bradbury Woods
This MP3 player is located at Bradbury woods, where a cabin will be covered in leaves and weed. At the corner of the cabin, will be wall made of wooden planks that you can melee with to break open, or use a weapon.
Once you get inside, you will find the music player with headphones on the shelf on the right just as you enter.
MP3 Players # 2 – Filmore’s Hovel
This MP3 player can be found in Filmore’s Havel, where it is inside an underground bunker that you can access by entering from the hatch. The hatch entrance is to the right of the truck.
The hatch does not need unlocking, just open it and climb down for the music player.
MP3 Players # 3 – Big Mike’s Dale
This MP3 player is also in an underground bunker that you need to climb down to in order to get the item. The hatch is located behind the house. Open the hatch, climb down where the player will be on a table on the right.
MP3 Players # 4 The Chop Shop
This MP3 players is located at the Lake which is north of The Chop Shop outpost. The building by the lake is accessible only by grappling as the main door is locked.
You will need to grapple from the lake, towards the window upwards. The player is in the small shelf on the bottom row.
MP3 Players # 5 – Sergey’s Place
This MP3 player is found at Sergey’s Place, where it will be in a broken train compartment which is partially buried in the ground but has an opening in the middle. The player is on the left side inside the compartment.
MP3 Players # 6 – Frobishmer’s Memory Cave
This music player is in a cave called Frobishner’s Memory that you need to enter. Inside the cave, there will be a spot that you can grapple up to get to the top. Use this to get above where there will be a small resting spot with bags and chair, plus the music player for you to collect.
MP3 Players # 7 – Sein’s Sanctuary
This music player is located at the Sein’s Sanctuary. Go to this small garden area, and enter it. you will be able to hear the music of the MP3 playing inside. Inside the garden area, you will find a wooden floorboard that can be broken to get the player inside.
MP3 Players # 8 Forgotten Barracks
This music player can be taken from the Forgotten Barracks that is west of Empty Garden Outpost. Enter the house from the open window on the left side of the house. Immediately turn left and break open the wooden crate to get the key to the locked room on the right.
Unlock and enter the room, where the music player will be right in front of you.
MP3 Players # 9 – Rotgut Pass
This music player is found at the Rotgut Pass where you will again have to enter a house. Get inside from the main opening, where a locked door to the right has the music player. You need a key to unlock the door which will be on the left on top of a wooden cabinet.
Use the key to unlock the door, and the music player will be in the toilet of the locked room.
MP3 Players # 10 – Tombwater
This music player is located at Tombwater. This is inside another house that you will have to enter. Though the player is in a locked room to the left, continue straight ahead towards a yellow refrigerator. Shoot the top section of the refrigerator which will contain the key to the door inside.
Unlock the door, and take the music player that is on the sink to your right.
This will complete the Audiophile Mission and unlock the trophy/ achievement for you.
