Remote Explosives

One of the ways to open a safe, and that requires no special Perk to be unlocked, is to use Remote Explosives. Though its not the best way to open safes especially when you need to be stealthy, it still is an option early on in the game when you do not have a perk to open safes.

Throw a Remote Explosive near the safe and keep some distance between yourself and the explosion radius. To craft remote explosives, you will need blasting caps and black powder. These ingredients are commonly found by looting fallen enemies.

Lock Picking

You can unlock this perk which makes the whole process very easy. This method also helps you being stealth and doesn’t alert any attention towards you. Pick the lock when you near a safe and interact with it.

Repair Torch

The Repair Torch can be added to your weapons wheel once you unlock the Perk with the Perk Points. The Repair Torch is not only good for repairing vehicles, but also open up safes and locks.
