Frontier Developments has announced the release of the new Grasslands Animal Pack for Planet Zoo. The Grasslands Animal Pack brings eight brand-new species to the game along with a new campaign scenario and a new Butterfly Exhibit as well. The Grasslands Animal Pack for Planet Zoo is available on Steam for $9.99 and it is also part of the Planet Zoo: Ultimate Edition. The eight new animal species included in the Grasslands Animal Pack include the Nine-Branded Armadillo, Maned Wolf, Emu, Caracal, Red-Necked Wallaby, Striped Hyena, and Blue Wildebeest. Each of these animals brings its own unique characteristics to the game which are sure to attract new as well as returning visitors to your zoo. For example, Armadillos can preen themselves, caracals’ ears flop and jiggle as they bounce around and hyenas’ hair raises when they are fighting or are stressed. Each animal brings a unique behavior to the mix.
You will also find a brand new exhibit for butterflies where you can keep five beautiful butterflies for your visitors. These include cloudless sulphur, European peacock, Menelaus blue morpho, monarch, and old world swallowtail. Inside your Butterfly Exhibition, you will be able to educate your guests on these five unique butterflies. It is also the game’s first multispecies exhibit. Finally, you will have a new campaign scenario in the game as well where you will teach the rich socialite Tiffany Summers how to care for her animals and move all of them from her mansion to more suitable locations.

Otherwise, if you purchased the Ultimate Edition of the game, you would already have the DLC installed for your game. Planet Zoo is currently available on PC exclusively.
