The PlayStation 5 has finally got a launch date along with its console and game prices. However, the Sony PlayStation 5 event also came with a handful of new game trailers and teasers for the upcoming console.  

Here are every game announcements and trailers that were shown at the Sony PlayStation 5 event. 

Final Fantasy XVI – Awakening Trailer 

The Sony PS5 event started off with a new Final Fantasy XIV Awakening trailer for the PlayStation 5. The newest title in the legendary Final Fantasy is the all-new standalone single playing action RPG developed by Square Enix. 

Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Gameplay Demo 

A new gameplay demo for the previously announced Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales was also featured in the event. We got the first look of the game running on the PlayStation 5 console. 

Hogwarts Legacy 

Hogwarts Legacy got officially revealed, which is a new Harry Potter Game releasing next year. Experience a new story set at Hogwarts in the 1800s. Your character is a student who holds the key to an ancient secret that threatens to tear the wizarding world apart. Make allies, battle Dark wizards and decide the fate of the wizarding world. 

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War 

Activision revealed a portion of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War’s first campaign mission called Nowhere Left to Run. This is the mission where players will use the cover of darkness and plausible deniability to fight a battle that never happened. 

Resident Evil Village 

Resident Evil Village got its second trailer as seen in the PS5 Event. Fear surrounds you in the Resident Evil Village, which is a new chapter in this survival horror game. Game releases next year on the PlayStation 5. 

Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition 

Devil May Cry 5 will release on the next-gen PS5 console and it will be called a Special Edition. A trailer alongside the announcement was also shown. New features include the addition of Dante’s brother and arch-rival, Vergil, as a playable character, as well as Turbo Mode, Legendary Dark Knight, Ray Tracing, and more. 

Demon’s Souls Gameplay Trailer 

Another very highly anticipated title, Demon’s Souls also got its gameplay trailer shown at the event. In Demon’s Souls, venture into the fog-ridden kingdom of Boletaria. Here, death is not the end, and again the challenge seems insurmountable. But this dark world draws you in nonetheless, with its sumptuous sights and chilling sounds. Through the power of the DualSense controller’s haptics, you feel every visceral blow, making even small victories all the sweeter. 

God of War: Ragnarok 

The event’s last teaser trailer was for God of War: Ragnarok, with the voice of Kratos in the background and the logo of the game series.
