Gear Talents come in both as Active and Passive. They provide various special abilities that increase the potential of the Gear, and granting you benefits with a Gear in combat
Active Talents are available only on the current gear they are applied to, while Passive are talents that are always applied to the character.
In the game, every Gear that you have comes with a set of Talents that you can unlock after reaching certain requirements. These are the player stats in the game that are Offense, Defense and Skills. Equipping gear on your Gears increases these stats. The more gear you equip, the more these stats add up in your favor.
The Division 2 Gear Talents Guide
Below we have listed all the Gear Talents and their effects that they provide to your gear in the game.
Berserk
This Gear Talent offers you +10% weapon damage for every 10% of max armor depleted. This buff works for Shotguns, SMG, or Assault Rifles that you have equipped.
Braced
This Gear Talent increases weapon handling by 15% when in cover.
Centered
This Gear Talent grants you 10 seconds of status effect immunity for every headshot kill you perform. To equip this Talent, you need 4 or more Defense Stats.
Cloaked
This Gear Talent makes it impossible for the enemies to track you when your armor is broken. To equip this Talent, you need at least 3 Skill Stat.
Creeping Death
This Gear Talent allows your status effect to spread to the nearest enemy within 10 meters. This effect can occur every 15 seconds. To equip this Talent, you need at least 4 Offense Stat.
Fill’er Up
This Gear Talent reloads all your other weapons when you reload from empty.
Entrench
This Gear Talent repairs 5% of your armor for every headshot you hit from cover. This buff works only with a Rifle or Marksman weapon.
Gunslinger
With this Gear Talent, swapping to your sidearm within 3 seconds of a kill refills the sidearm’s magazine and grants +20% weapon damage for the entire magazine. To equip this Talent, you need at least 5 Defensive stats
Mad Bomber
This Gear Talent increases the grenade radius by 150%, while also refunding grenades that kill an enemy.
Obliterate
This Gear Talent grants +25% critical hit damage for depleting an enemy’s armor. This buff works for 5 seconds. To equip this Talent, you need 4 or more Offense Stats.
On the Ropes
This Gear Talent increases weapon damage by 25% while all skills are on cooldown or reach zero charges. To equip this Talent, you need 7 or more Utility Stats.
Patience
This Gear Talent repairs armor by 5% every 1 second, after being in cover for 3 seconds. To equip this Talent, you need 7 or more Defensive Stats.
Payload
This Gear Talent grants 50% explosive damage for 15 seconds for destroying an enemy’s asset. To equip this Talent you need at least 4 Defensive Stats.
Restorative
This Gear Talent gives you +10% Health on Kill
Safeguard
This Gear Talent grants you 150% bonus to repairing and healing for 20 seconds on killing a target.
Skilled
This Gear Talent grants skill kills to have a 35% chance to reset Skill Cooldowns. To equip this Talent, you need 4 or more Utility
Spotter
This Gear Talent gives you +10% weapon damage to pulsed enemies. To equip this Talent, you need 5 or more Utility.
Terminate
This Gear Talent grands you +35% Skill damage for 15 seconds every time you deplete enemies armor.
Top Order
This Gear Talent allows you to cook grenades by holding the fire button, making them explode earlier.
Unbreakable
This Gear Talent repairs 25% of your armor when it is depleted. Armor kits used within the next 5 seconds are not consumed.
Unstoppable Force
This Gear Talent grants 2% weapon damage for every 10,000 Max Armor by killing an enemy. To equip this Talent, you need 7 or more Defense Stat.
Capacitive
This Gear Talent give you +20 Skill Duration
Destructive
This Gear Talent gives you +20% Explosive Damage
Hard Hitting
This Gear Talent gives you +15% Damage to Elites
Hardened

When you look at the SPECS sheet, there are symbols next to the talents.
A hollow circle, a circle with a chevron, a circle with a horizontal line, maybe others.
Do you know what they all mean? I assume they denote how the talent applies.
A blank circle, I presume, means it applies to my whole person.
Allegro is a passive talent, yet it only applies to the one weapon, right? This has a circle with line thru it.
Other talents, that have a chevron in the circle, I’m hoping, mean that they apply to all weapons…? Or perhaps just to that weapon.
Perhaps the Allegro passive that is on my Marksman rifle that has a line thru it means that it isn’t even active at all – because it doesn’t apply to the marksman rifle? If that’s the case, then don’t let it roll on a piece of gear that it can’t be used on! FFS.
