Guerrilla Games Working On New Game, Recruits Developers From Rainbow Six Siege

Guerrilla Games

Guerrilla Games are famously known for Killzone 2, Killzone 3, Killzone Shadowfall, and the recent game Horizon Zero Dawn. All of the mentioned games were PlayStation consoles exclusives. Guerrilla Games have most of time worked closely with Sony PlayStation.

The recent events, as noticed by  via Pushsquare leads us to believe that Guerrilla Games is acquiring developers from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege game. This started off with first Simon Larouche, who joined first back some nine months ago. He further described his moves as ‘Secret Game is Secret!’.

Turn 10 Confirms That There Will Be No Forza Motorsport 8 in 2019

Simon Larouche was already a part of Guerrilla Games, back when Killzone 2 released. After that he joined Ubisoft Montreal. He joined the studio sometime in 2009. Another interesting person is Chris Lee here.

Chris Lee has recently been listed as Principal Game Designer at Guerrilla Games for the unannounced game. This is even mentioned in his LinkedIn profile.

This sudden recruitment of employees from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege team could mean a next generation game. This could also mean a possible but much bigger sequel to Horizon Zero Dawn. Horizon Zero Dawn released February 28, 2017 exclusively on PlayStation 4 system. The game had enhanced visuals in terms of resolution and HDR visuals for PlayStation 4 Pro.

Moving on to a possible thought on Killzone sequel. Do you think fans of the Killzone community need another sequel ? Killzone Shadowfall released back when PlayStation 4 released and that it did not do well since its launch.

We expect to see Horizon Zero Dawn sequel by 2020. Maybe Guerrilla Games need to recruit more diverse developers than they had in the first game. Developers at Rainbow Six Siege have been doing great with the game since its launch. The game looks polished more and more with every other update.
