Red Dead Redemption will release on October 26, 2018 on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The game will run at 1080p 30 fps on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. However, PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X will take it further up to 4K resolution.
Recently, Microsoft has confirmed that on Xbox One X, Red Dead Redemption 2 will run at native 4K resolution (3840×2160). We do know that PlayStation 4 Pro will also run the game on 4K resolution, it is just not confirmed at the moment if that will be an upscale 4K or Native 4K one.
