Next you need to head to the Sculptor’s Place and eavesdrop on both of them from behind the building. Following this, you need to talk to Emma who will give you a bell that you can use at the Buddha Statue again.

Now head to the same room that Lady Butterfly was in, and then fight to defeat the Owl. Once you have defeated the Owl, it will complete this ending and unlock the Purification trophy/achievement.

This will complete the Immortal Severance ending, and also unlock the trophy/achievement of the same name.

Ending # 4 – Return

For this ending, you have to go to the rooftops and decide to stay loyal to Kuro, followed by defeating the Owl. Now all you have to do is follow the main story path until the end where you have to do a few things before taking on the last boss.

There are two steps you are required to do if you want to achieve this ending. The first is to gather both a fresh and old Serpent Fruits, and the second is the Divine child in Inner Sanctum.

To collect the fresh and the old Serpent Fruits, you need to go to the Senpou Temple and drop down to the right of the exit of the first idol in the area. Here you will find a mechanism for kite and a small enemy next to it. use your Puppeteer Ninjutsu to take this enemy on your side and for him to use the kite.

Follow the path until you can grapple to the kite, and this will transport you to a new area where you can kill the Giant Serpent. Defeating this boss will reward you with the Fresh Serpent Fruit.

For the old Serpent Fruit, go to the area after the Guardian Ape boss fight, and go to the very bottom of the area in another direction instead of going towards the Ape. You will then reach a cave with a Giant Serpent inside. You have to sneak past think serpent towards a door to its left side, and pick up the Old Fruit inside.

Now you have to go for the second step to attain this ending, and that is by going to the Divine Child in the inner Sanctum. Here you are expected to give a scroll that you find by diving in the pond in the Temple Grounds. Her illusion will disappear int eh area where you chased the monkeys.

Find her again where you fought the 4 small monkeys, and talk to her. She will return to the Inner Sanctum and tell you about the fruits and the monk who is in the dark cave next to the temple you are in. Bring the item from the monk back to her, and feed her the fruits.

You will receive frozen Dragon Tears from her, which you will have to use at Kuro after defeating the last boss in the game. this will complete this ending and will unlock the Return trophy/achievement.
